Children are welcome here!
Each Sunday, children are invited to come up front and listen to a children’s message prior to the sermon. During the sermon portion of the 10:00 worship service, kids K-2 may attend Children’s Church, where they talk about what they heard during the children’s sermon, and do an activity based on what Pastor Alan is preaching to the congregation. It is FPC’s desire to provide our families with the opportunity to discuss what they heard in church on the car ride home, or over the dinner table. We understand that it may be difficult for young ones to sit through an entire worship service, but we also believe that even if our children aren’t hearing a sermon directly, they can still learn about it in a fun, creative environment in Children’s Church. After church, parents can pick up their children in room #13.
If your child is in 3rd grade and up, or would like to remain with you throughout the entire worship service, we provide FPC KIDS bags. Inside the bags are children’s bulletins specifically designed with activities that follow along with the theme of the sermon each week. After the service, please return the bags to the designated “FPC KIDS bags” boxes by the doors.
