At FPC we believe Christ calls each individual believer into mission and ministry to share their specific gifts with the world.
FPC Montrose seeks to provide a loving, grace-filled space in which individuals come to know Christ and are inspired to share their gifts with passion.
We value close, interpersonal relationships, are deeply dedicated to studying God’s Word together, and are committed to being a body of believers that is outwardly focused.
A Note from Pastor Mike…
Welcome to "FPC!"
We at First Presbyterian Church of Montrose extend to you our sincere welcome and love.
And, please know that you are not only welcomed, you are also an answer to prayers because the FPC family prays often that God sends more people to experience the love, joy and peace of Jesus Christ as FPC shares God's blessings with you.
All are welcome to walk alongside us in our Advent journey towards the manger where we behold the One who was sent from God, his Father, to give his life to bring us back to God's life. The Advent season prepares us to truly celebrate the "Reason" for the season of Christmas, and we invite you to join in this special season of the year!
There is something for everyone at FPC, and we don't want to keep the blessings to ourselves-we are blessed to be a blessing to you! We open our doors to all, so come and find your place to seek God with us and to know that you have a family of fellow seekers and followers of Jesus at FPC who truly care for you.
Wishing you and yours the love, grace and peace of Jesus,
Rev. Mike Motsko, Interim Pastor

Bible Memorization Challenge: Kid's vs. Adults!
FPC family...we, the adults, have been challenged by Brittany and the kids to memorize one scripture verse per month. The kids are excited to dive into God's word and commit it to memory. There will be prizes along the way, and a party at the end, with 12 verses in their minds and hearts! Kids will memorize from the NIV, so be ready.
November Verse: Revelation 21:4
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (NIV)

At FPC We Are Purposely...
Called to Love God
...by worshiping together
We are called to worship God. We worship God as our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. We worship in song and prayer, hearing the Word of God, and responding to the Word through the daily offering of our lives.
To Know God
...through His Word, training & equipping
We are called to make disciples of all nations. To make a disciple you have to be one yourself. Seeking a relationship with God the Father, Son and Spirit. Surrender of self and fellowship with other believers, and following God's spoken word--the Bible.
To Serve God & Others
